Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai will earn 100 cr on its first weekend - trade predictions
As we get closer to welcoming 2018 Salman Khan is all set to end 2017 with a bang. His Spy thriller Tiger Zinda Hai directed by Ali Abbas Zafar will hit the screen on 22nd December 2017, and fans cannot wait. Sequel to 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai will feature Salman and Katrina Kaif reprise their roles as RAW and ISI agents Tiger and Zoya respectively. Salman and Katrina‘s chemistry is something that always creates a lot of buzz and with Tiger Zinda Hai, the duo will come back together after five years which has added on to the huge hype the surrounds the film.
And while we wait to witness fireworks at the box office this Friday here's how much the film will mint on its first weekend.

In an EXCLUSIVE interview with zoomtv.com trade analyst, Akshaye Rathi told us, “It should conveniently score a century over the first weekend.”

Talking about the buzz the surrounds this spy thriller, Akshaye said, "The buzz is huge surrounding Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai. The first edition of this franchise which was Ek Tha Tiger did phenomenally well when it released. It was, in fact, the highest grossing film for Salman." He further added, "It is one of those larger than life film which people would want ot go to cinemas to watch. The expectations are huge, the kind of content that is out yet; the promos and the songs indicate that this is a true blue treat for Salman Khan fans. And I’m sure that this Friday after a very long gap will witness fireworks at the box office.”

Will Ali Abbas Zafar be able to do justice to the sequel of the 2012 blockbuster, Akshaye explains, "If you look at Ali Abbas Zafar’s track record as a director, he is one of the most commercial-minded filmmakers that we have this in this country. And he is somebody who has a great connect with every section of the social strata as a storyteller. So when it comes to the mass appeal of this film, I’m sure it’s going to be far greater than Ek Tha Tiger. "
