‘Dhadak’: Interesting facts about the film

Helmed by Shashank Khaitan, ‘Dhadak’ stars debutants Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter. The film is making the right noise as fans are excited to see the two newbies and alleged lovebirds romance onscreen.

On Wednesday, team ‘Dhadak’ wrapped up their Jaipur shooting schedule. The film's production house took to Instagram to share pictures of the team wrapping up the shoot in style. The entire team is all smiles for the camera with a giant wheel in the backdrop.

Janhvi Kapoor also posted a picture of herself with Ishaan and the team facing the other side wearing black hoodies with their names written on their back.

'Dhadak' is scheduled to release in July 2018.

‘Dhadak’, which marks the Bollywood debut of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, reportedly hit a roadblock when filming in Jaipur was allegedly stalled. According to reports doing the rounds, the shoot was called off on Friday, because of protests by local residents. A police complaint was also allegedly filed by a local who claimed that one of the crew’s vans hit the roof of the Ambikeshwar Mahadev Temple and damaged it.

While filming was cancelled on Friday, the makers cited the reason to be the director’s ill health.

Reports suggest that the matter has been resolved, with a compensation given to the temple authorities.

It has been in the talks for the longest time - whether Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor will join the film fraternity or not. Now, that vision has finally been realized with the upcoming film ‘Dhadak’. Starring Janhvi and Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother Ishaan Khatter, this romantic drama is already earning popularity.
