Radhika Apte confirms doing a movie with this Oscar-nominated actor

While many of her peers make a lot of noise about their upcoming movies by not letting go of the spotlight and giving bytes wherever possible, Radhika Apte is one of the few actresses who would rather let her work speak about her caliber. She may not have had a glitzy Bollywood debut but she is considered as one of the most powerful actresses in Bollywood right now.
Radhika Apte has some interesting movies on hand that will come out later this year. For starters, there is PadMan that is scheduled to release this month. She is playing Akshay Kumar's wife in the movie, that also stars Sonam Kapoor. She will also be seen in Baazaar, with Saif Ali Khan and debutant Rohan Mehra, as well as in Sriram Raghavan's movie with Ayushmann Khurrana.

However, there is one project that has not only excited the actress but will also have the same reaction with her fans, which involves an Oscar-nominated actor. In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, Radhika Apte revealed that she is a doing a movie with Dev Patel, the details of which she will announce soon. Dev Patel is known for starring in movies like Slumdog Millionaire, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and its sequel, ChappieThe Last Airbender etc. He was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor for last year's Lion.

In the same interview, Radhika Apte also spoke about working on Padman and Baazaar. She has said, "PadMan for me was a start-to-finish schedule. We stayed in Maheshwar for a month and wrapped it up with Akshay working eight hours a day which was amazing. It was all quick. With Baazaar we filmed all over Mumbai, every day we were on the move, and the film took time to complete. With big films you reach more people, that is the only difference."
She also spoke about working with two newcomers, Rohan Mehra in Baazaar and Akash Thorat (of Sairat fame) in Anurag Kashyap's Love and Lust. She said, "Rohan knows the industry since he was born. I’m sure he knows more about it than me. He’s a sincere and sweet boy and I really enjoyed working with him. He’s given so much time and effort to the film, his dedication is commendable. I haven’t seen Sairatyet, I must be the only one who hasn’t seen Akash’s film in Maharashtra, and I met him directly on set. Anurag has captured some stuff that is very Akash. He’s a young boy and a bit shy at times. Anurag has moulded the character according to his personality. I will catch Sairat soon."
