Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai gets a UA Certificate, what about Padmavati?

Salman Khan's Tubelight may not have well lit the theatres in 2017 but it seems like Salman is all set to end the year with a bang with Ali Abbas Zafar's Tiger Zinda Hai. The film which is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger stars Salman and Katrina Kaif reprise their role as Tiger and Zoya. The trailer for the film has already created waves amongst the masses and so has the songs.
As the audience waits for the film to release, a report in DNA suggests that the film has been passed by the censor board with a UA certificate and will release on 22nd December 2017. Apart from a scene and two audio cuts, the film was passed without any hesitation by the CBFC. A source told the daily, “A scene where a nurse is being kicked, and two audio cuts, which had abuses, have been deleted.”
Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati which was slated to release on December 1st has been deferred.
The film which was initially sent to the CBFC was returned to the filmmaker as the application for the film's certificate was incomplete. Post which the makers had submitted the film again but the film is yet to see the light of the day.
For Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman has left no stone unturned and has pushed boundaries during the filming. Right from fighting with the wolves to shotting in -22 degrees, Salman has does it all.
Talking about the deadly sequence Ali said, “Tiger's encounter with a pack of wolves mark one of the most important chapters in the film. The idea was to do something, which has never been seen on the Indian screen and give Tiger's character an edge. This is a very dramatic chase and action sequence that Tiger has with a pack real wolves.”
Now that Tiger Zinda Hai has been cleared by the CBFC, we are looking forward to Padmavati's fate.
Stay tuned.
